Chateau du Porcheresse , Porcheresse, Belgium Ardennen
We will be liviing in this grand residence for the duration of the workshop. The chateau was originally built in 1704 and was rebuilt in 1919. It has recently been renovated and equipped with modern conveniences. Great care has been taken to preserve the original atmosphre. The chateau is decorated with antique furniture, paintings, and furnishings. The Baroness de Boulanger Bert Inch amps, is the owner of the manor.
The chateau is located in a quiet, natural environment and is ideal for recreating and hiking. It is located in a small village of Porcheresse which lies in teh vicinity of the Lesse River, about 40 km South of Dinant.
Various sporting activities like Horse Riding, skiing, nature hikes are available. Various tourist spots are located more than half an hour away. These include Rochefort and its caves and Saint-Hubert with a basilica and medieval castle.
Several nice restaurants are also in the area: Le Baudoin in Gembes, Le Trou de loup, Le Moulin de Le Pere etc.
